The take
Every OC trip starts the same way: cresting this 1942 drawbridge with the bay on both sides and the town spread out ahead. It still opens for boat traffic, so a 'bridge up' delay is part of the arrival ritual. Officially it's the Harry W. Kelley Memorial Bridge; to everyone else it's just the Route 50 bridge.
