West OC & Berlin

Not the main feature — but people want to know. The working harbor, the good go-karts, and the storybook town 15 minutes inland.

West Ocean City is the working side of the resort: the commercial fishing fleet, the charter and headboat hub, and harbor-front restaurants where the seafood actually comes off the boats behind the building. It's also the practical side — the outlets, the Park & Ride, and the road out to Assateague.

Berlin is the mainland's storybook answer: a Victorian Main Street 15 minutes inland, branded "America's Coolest Small Town," and Hollywood's pick for Runaway Bride and Tuck Everlasting. It's the go-to rainy-day / change-of-pace recommendation and the day-trips ring's anchor.
