The take
The 1907 pier building once held a dance hall, a bowling alley, and a silent-movie theater, and the big-band greats played the ballroom. The building was rebuilt after 1926 and the era eventually faded, but a historical marker keeps the spot. Stand here and picture the boards in dance shoes.
