The take
Kouign-amann and a pistachio cherry tart on the pastry side; a croque monsieur with gruyère and béchamel, and a lamb kebab pita, on the savoury side. It comes from Peter Elias, who also owns Spain Wine Bar, and it opened at the end of the previous summer rather than this one — a catch-up entry, not a new arrival. The bakery's own site puts it at seven in the morning until three in the afternoon, daily; that is a summer sentence and nobody has published what happens to it in November.
