The take

The Fenwick Island Lighthouse has stood at the Delaware line since 1859, and the little ground-floor museum is free on select summer mornings — no tower climbing, so lower those expectations now. The 1751 Transpeninsular marker stone sits at its base, making this corner two eras of history in one stop. Check in on both sides of the line here and the Two States, One Island badge is yours.
