Proprietor of the Capital Hotel at Dover, Delaware. Three Delaware papers reported in October 1875 that he was arranging to run the hotel at Ocean City for the 1876 season, and one added that he also intended to open a first-class house at Rehoboth — "He'll have his hands full if he runs three." The Ocean City lease appears instead to have gone to John Tracy & Co. of Salisbury in November.
