Thomas B. Birch

Maryland-born Worcester County surfman at the Ocean City life-saving station on 1 July 1897, at $60 a month. A Charles W. Birch was serving at North Beach in the same year; Surfman William T. Birch of the Ocean City crew had drowned in January 1895. Whether the three are kin is not established.
