A surveyor with field notes on Ocean City running back to 1917. He came before the council on 2 April 1946 and gave an account of his findings since 1917 as recorded in those notes, up to the time he helped Schoolfield survey the city in 1924 - the survey the council then adopted as controlling for all future work. He corresponded with the town's lawyers through April and May 1946 from 33 Sagamore Road, Bronxville 8, New York: it was he who caught the 977-foot typographical error in the draft boundary resolution and redrew the resolution himself, and the lawyers set aside a copy of the rewritten ordinance for him. On 1 October 1946 he was back before the council in person, offering to make Ocean City a new map showing all its subdivisions for $1,000. No decision on the offer is recorded.
