Jefferson D. Staton
One of the four men who represented Ocean City before the Maryland State Board of Health at Baltimore in April 1921, with Mayor E. E. Collins, W. Lee Carey and Dr. F. J. Townsend, to protest against the board's insistence that the town build a new sewerage system at once. Very probably of the Staton family of Snow Hill lawyers - Staton & Whaley, and John W. Staton, trustee - who appear throughout the county's 1921 legal advertising.
