One of three Ocean City men named to the Del-Mar-Va Eastern Shore Association's Worcester County board of governors for the year from July 1930, with Mayor W. W. McCabe and Dr. C. W. Purnell. The county's other governors were Colmore E. Byrd and Dr. E. T. Clarke of Pocomoke City, Horace Davis of Berlin and M. T. Harris of Snow Hill.
