Of Ocean City, Maryland; elected a vice-president of the regional council of the Izaak Walton League of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia in October 1931, at a meeting that condemned multiple-load guns and fyke nets in the Potomac. Not to be confused with Dr. Otho Mason of the campaign's earlier Ocean City record.

    Dr. A. H. Mason of Ocean City is elected a vice-president of the Izaak Walton League's tri-state regional council.

    Evening Star, 18 October 1931: the regional council of the Izaak Walton League of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, meeting to condemn multiple-load guns and fyke nets in the Potomac and to urge the closing of its coves and creeks to commercial fishing, re-elected Dr. M. D'Arcy Magee president and named as vice-presidents "Dr. A. H. Mason, Ocean City, Md.; H. B. McCubbin, Baltimore; J. P. Hershise, Cumberland, Md." and others. In September 1930 the League's Maryland State Council had met at Ocean City.
