Dominican House of Study, Ocean City
civic
A Roman Catholic house of study at Ocean City, Md., known to this project only from a United Press dispatch of 26 August 1933 in which an official reported that the hurricane had left the main building undamaged but the wings badly battered — 'the wind changed just in time to save us.' Three New England students are named: Nicholas J. Serror Jr., Walter Alger and Joachim Smith. Its location in the town, its dates and its relation to the Dominican Order's houses elsewhere are all unestablished.
