Worcester County motor-bus operator that ran the first scheduled bus service to Ocean City. On Monday 28 June 1915 it extended its Pocomoke–Snow Hill–Berlin car through to the beach, leaving Snow Hill at 8:30 a.m. and Ocean City at 4:00 p.m., with a Sunday round trip that let a passenger "spend any day you like by the ocean". Its standing advertisement, under the name Worcester Transit Co., offered three trips daily except Sunday over a route of thirty to forty minutes, carried the United States mail, and charged 50 cents one way and 75 cents the round trip. It reaches Ocean City a year before the Sinepuxent Bay highway bridge and while the concrete boulevard from Salisbury was still being laid.

    Ocean City got its first scheduled motor-bus service on Monday 28 June 1915, when the Berlin-Snow Hill-Pocomoke Transit Company ran its car through to the beach — a year before the bay bridge.

    The Democratic Messenger of 10 July, under "Pocomoke to Ocean City Bus Now Running": "The Berlin-Snow Hill-Pocomoke Transit Company announces an important change of schedule, effective Monday, June 28th. Beginning with this date the car will run from Pocomoke to Ocean City in the morning, leaving Snow Hill at 8:30 a. m. Returning, leave Ocean City at 4:00 p. m. On Sundays, after this date, the same car will leave Snow Hill at 1:00 p. m., and returning leave Ocean City at 9:30 p. m. By this arrangement you can spend any day you like by the ocean." The same issues carry the operator's standing card as the "WORCESTER TRANSIT CO. Motor-Bus Line, Pocomoke — Snow Hill: Three Trips Daily except Sunday. Time, 30 to 40 Minutes. Carries U. S. Mail. Fare, 50c. Round Trip, 75c." For forty years the only way to the beach had been the railroad or a boat. The 1913 concrete boulevard from Salisbury was still being poured, the bay bridge would not open until 1916 — and here, already, is a motor bus running a published timetable to Ocean City and carrying the mail.
